Some persons have argued that the 3 presidential candidates proposed for subsidy Removal…..
However, they didn’t care to understand how the other Two would have implemented theirs… At least, we have seen the lackluster approach Tinubu took and the bizarre effect it has on Nigerians.
To set the record straight, Muhammadu Buhari removed the Fuel ⛽ subsidy and Consolidated by Bola Ahmed Tinubu. ( they belong in same whatsapp group anyways )!
It’s 41 days post Inauguration and the famous “subsidy regime is gone” pronouncement, yet nothing has been said or seen to be done towards cushioning the excruciating pains and hardship meted to Nigerians by Tinubu.
But wait….
Nigerians now make money and spend it buying fuel…. Every car owner currently spend 10k each time they visit the Petrol station….. Aside the Politicians, everyone in Nigeria is feeling the heat 🔥.
Do we actually need to remove SUBSIDY ON PETROL?
The answer is NOPE..
The government should have REMOVED THE CORRUPTION surrounding Fuel subsidy but not SUBSIDY itself.
The subsidy government claims to be paying on Petrol ⛽ happened to be the very last of the direct and meaningful benefit to the Nigerians….. Yes… One of the very last!
In Nigeria currently, Nigerians actually pay for everything, ranging from Healthcare, education, transportation….. Etc

Are you aware that aside Fuel, Federal government has been subsidizing TUITION fees for university students? That’s why Federal Government universities in Nigeria are very affordable.
Tinubu has finally removed it with the introduction of his University Loan scheme…
Most Nigerians wouldn’t understand the meaning of that loan till later….

1. First, audit the Oil sector to know the actual amount of Petrol ⛽ consumed by Nigerians on a daily basis… (what they quoted or are quoting is outrageously not true)
By doing this alone, you would realize that Millions of barrels of petrol were actually over paid. They would eventually be diverted to other Neighboring nations…..

2. Quickly make a Supplementary budget, borrow if possible to pay for Fuel subsidy (after knowing the actual amount Nigerians consume daily, not the bloated figure they currently have now)

This would be the only way to cushion the effect but not one USELESS PALLIATIVES… another way to embezzle fund… How much would they give Nigerians in terms of palliative? Who and who would benefit?
Nonsense and Ingredients!
3. Quickly give license to Modular Refinery owners. Ensure Crude is sold to them in Naira not dollars 💵.
This would increase the internal petrol production with would start being monitored and distributed…..
4. Borrow money to fix the 4 Refineries where more Petrol should be refined…
With these, petrol would be locally produced and in abundance…
Pull out the SUBSIDY……
Nigerians won’t even notice it’s gone.
No one should talk to me about a privately owned DANGOTE Refinery which is an extention of APC cabals Ltd.
Only in Nigeria would the government be rejoicing that an individual is monopolizing the economy yet same government couldn’t fix her own moribund Refinery in 8 years.
Shame on this GOVERNMENT THAT LIE TO HER CITIZENS…
We’re patiently waiting for Tinubu’s palliatives.
