The residents of a particular community in Lagos state, Nigeria have decided to take the bull by the horn as they attacked some personnels from the NEPA ( I don’t know their new baptismal name, biko we prefer NEPA) who were trying to disconnect their electricity.
Evidently, the people were so furious and waiting for a day like this to pounce on them and fiaaaam.. It came to pass…
Meanwhile, it’s no longer a news that these NEPA people are so insensitive to the plight of the people, care less if they have power supply at all but bring exorbitant bills regularly. The abysmal power supply is increasingly getting people frustrated, no wonder the outburst which is quite unusual.
As much as jkcyno’s blog doesn’t support any sort of physical combat to the NEPA officials, I doubt if most Nigerians would share in same feelings.
All these risk of climbing of electric poles to disconnect and re-connect would seize only if they agreed to installing the pre-paid meters to everyone…. But helllll no…they preferred to get beaten….
