It’s getting more interesting in Rivers state politics as a meeting of stakeholders brokered by the NSA, Nuhu Ribadu Nuhu Ribadu issues directives to resolve political impasse in Rivers State.
Bola Tinubu directs all impeachment proceedings initiated against Governor SIM Fubara by the Rivers State House of Assembly led by Speaker Martin to be dropped with immediate effect.
Tinubu equally directed Governor Sim Fubara to recognize Martins Amaewhule as Speaker and the other 26 members who defected to APC as members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Tinubu also directed that their salaries be paid immediately.

In the same vein, Tinubu has ordered Governor Sim Fubara to present the 2024 budget to Speaker Martin Amaewhule.
Tinubu also asked Governor Fubara to allow the Rivers State House of Assembly choose their choice location for sittings.
