Aviation workers are currently protesting in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. The PUNCH reported Sunday that the unions in the aviation sector had directed its members to “embark on peaceful rallies/public demonstrations at all airports in Nigeria to demand the expunging of obnoxious Essential Services clauses from the Bills/Acts of the aviation agencies” on Monday.

FG Drags ASUU to Industrial Court

The raging dispute between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) that has kept many universities shut for more than seven months will shift to the Industrial court next Monday. ASUU had embarked on strike since Febr, uary 15 to protest alleged decay of infrastructure at the various institutions, as well
