Organised Labour in the nation’s Electricity sector, has issued a strike notice to the Federal Government, rejecting the take-over of some Electricity Distribution Companies, DisCos, by banks among others. ASUP calls off two-week warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) has ended its two-week warning strike over the federal government’s failure to meet its demands. Some of ASUP’s demands include the payment of the N15bn revitalisation fund for polytechnics, payment of minimum wage arrears, and review of conditions of service, among others. ASUU extends strike by 12 weeks
