Pat Utomi finally opens up on APC’s allegations

The enemies of Nigeria who still feel threatened by the emergence of Peter Obi are still rattled by his calmness. They couldn’t break him, hence, they have resorted to more evil ploys to dent his name.

Aside using Lamidi Apapa to disrupt Labour party which failed woefully, they have gone to try blackmailing Pat Utomi, stating that Tinubu funded Peter Obi’s campaign via Pat Utomi.

Tụfịakwa (spits out)!!

Evil people don’t rest.

Meanwhile, Pat Utomi who ordinarily would have ignored such cheap blackmail still decided to respond for posterity sake.

See his response below :

“Why should I go to court. The judiciary has been so ridiculed that I have to go to court when someone rolls out a huge series of lies with no evidence or logic beyond getting the base of a criminal political enterprise energized. How low Nigeria has sunk.

I am still to understand this campaign of disinformation targeting me by those who claim they won an election. I was not a candidate. The Akinwale fellow who I have no recollection I ever met seems to know how Tinubu funded me. Can he suggest how. Go to court I have been told.

Have finally seen the Akinwale video. If he is not a nutcase he should be prosecuted for lies capable of disrupting the peace. But I am not surprised I predicted this as part of the path to fascism. Barefaced lies to rev up a gullible Mass. God save us. Kaplan’s Anarchy comes.

I entered the 2023 campaigns to build a Third Force to break the race to the bottom and press a reset knob for Nigeria. Stayed elevated with issues and denounced calumnies. Yet some have waged disinformation and calumny campaigns aimed at me. I will continue to refuse to descend.

Truly if any flow from BAT came to me II would quickly withdraw money I spent at his urging in 2007 paid to international PR agency for an Orange revolution type campaign to stop 3rd term but not refunded. Details are in book I wrote 4 years ago. It would have helped my cash flow.

As for funding PO I cannot but be amazed at this disinformation. The outpouring of resources of citizens in support groups and PO’s prudent draw on his own purse was so humbling I even turned to ODs to fund my own activities in support of the campaign for faith in saving Nigeria.

In truth I have been much closer to Waziri Atiku who I first met in 1983 and wrote the feasibility for his farm a year later. I have served on the Board of his university, AUN. Only a warped or misinformed mind would invent such disinformation.

Some fellow pulling up a 9 year old video from an Ileya visit claimed the know of conduit of money through me to PO to uend Atiku. 1st, have had no direct or indirect contact with BAT in 4 years. Only material transfer from BAT to me in 25yrs we have known is $2000 for MIT event.

World of ironies. Last week I participated in a program of the Deliberative Democracy Lab of Standford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and Rule of Law on disinformation in social media unaware I was ongoing victim of disinformation in Nigeria.

As I watch the desperation with which past acts sown in love for the common good is unearthed and bent into disinformation regarding the present I am thankful that in the end truth is the only thing that prevails when lust for power is consumed by its own negativity. So I ignore.
