A six-digit code will be sent to your phone number via sms.
4. Enter the six-digit code that WhatsApp sends to you via sms. This logs you into your account immediately, and automatically logs out the hacker.
If you are asked to provide a two-step verification code, when you did not set up one, it means the individual using your account must have activated a two-step verification code.
Since you do not have the code, it means you have to wait 7 days again before you can sign in without the two-step verification code.
Remember that the hacker had been logged out immediately you were logged in with the 6-digit SMS code
So the hacker cannot continue any chat with your contacts and they cannot even get access to your WhatsApp account during this period.
Finally, Few Samming Tips from scammers :
The most frequently used nowadays is, from a WhatsApp Group..
The scammers picks your number randomly from the group and ask if you’re aware of a supposed members meeting slated for that day?
If you reply nope…. Which is the expected answer..
They would tell you about a code for gaining access to the meeting by evening…. (plus bla bla bla gibberish to confuse you the more).
They would ask you send the code they would send to you back to them to register you for the meeting…..
At that moment, they were trying to hack you, once you resend that code…. “o ti lo”.. You’re hacked and subsequently logged out “ozigbo ozigbo”.
Now, that i have told you.. Be on the look out, once they call you, take your time and waste their credit and get ready for their final insultive words once they noticed you’ve found out…😂
Stay save and pass this to all your friends and family members…
