It is incredible to me that New York State sees nothing untoward about the fact that a pair of unemployed, fresh-out-of-music-school 20-somethings who have a foreign PEP father with a heroin trafficking forfeiture in federal court, could pay $4.6m cash for deluxe property.
In a country where the ANNUAL median income is just over $30,000, the fact that a couple of unemployed music school graduates with no recognised source of income have been able to pay property taxes exceeding $30,000 PER QUARTER without raising AML red flags is incredible.
Dear @TishJames, I trust you will give this matter the priority it deserves.
I believe New York is not so poor that it needs the charity of drug traffickers who double as PEPs in poor African jurisdictions with $2,000 PCGDP.
