The ruling coalition All Progressives Congress APC is assuming the shape of an empty hall as both elected public officers of the party and other prominent members have started leaving the party in droves.
Recent developments in the party is a clear indication that that the election of the former Lagos State Governor Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential front bearer of the party did not go down well with its teeming supporters and stakeholders.
Despite a large number of supporters who are mostly individuals that benefitted from the APC presidential candidate throughout his sojourn in Nigerian politics, his acceptability among members of the party has taken a downward trend.

This mass movement from APC to PDP might not be unconnected to the towering influence of the PDP presidential candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who recently emerged the party’s flag bearer in a peaceful and keenly contested presidential primaries held in Abuja last week.
