An unimaginable happened in an occasion at Nkwo Amawa,Ogbunike, Anambra state as a certain masquerade was having a nice parade, displaying some beautiful moments of magic until the thunder stroke.
It was actually a lone display of musical and acoustic ranges laced with some fire 🔥 igniting scenarios by one of the leaders of the masquerade.
Beautiful and an obvious entertaining moment would soon turn to a bizarre and fatal ordeal as the “fire igniter” became some sort of careless and ignited the gun powder twice which mistakenly transfered the flames to the clothing of the masquerade which was so eager to welcome the fire because it was made of “akirika” (dry strands).
The camera 📸 man who was obviously one of them soon realized that the greeting had passed the elbow as the masquerade was gone up in flames…. 🔥
He (the ancestor) was reportedly rushed to the nearby hospital where the “human doctors” confirmed he had a second degree burn.
So unfortunately, news had it that the man later gave up the ghost due to the incident.
So quite an unfortunate situation….!!!
May the soul of the masquerade rest in peace ✌️!!!
