When you count these Agbados, you count a corresponding thousands more Omoluabis that supported Peter Obi.
Falz, Dele Farotimi, Iyabo Ojo, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Mr Macaroni, Rinu, David Hundeyin, & thousands more I can’t possibly put down on paper.
They fought with Nigerians, despite the incendiary attacks. Many of them were called “Omo Ales” for simply choosing the best candidate in the race. Targets was put on their backs; families & friendships were severed as well. Till this way, the ripples from 2023 are still with us.
The Afenifere & the Omuabis are proof that majority of the Yorubas did not vote for Bola. Despite the Yoruba Ronu incendiary agenda whistled by Dayo Israel, the Yorubas rejected their own son on D-Day.
What was meant to herald the “Yoruba Nationalism” was sullied by the uninformed, for political gain.
The Middle Belt & the Omoluabis were the reason Mahmood Yakubu had to switch off the IREV. They saw Peter Obi’s massive margin of lead, & panicked! They did the next best thing; “server glitch” was the result.
SERVER GLITCH affected only the presidential election; the National Assembly results was spared.
In Ekiti, Osun, Oyo & Ondo, Peter Obi got his 25%. Where he did not, INEC connived with the APC & the G5 to perform their abracadabra.
Please, we should remember these things, & be kinder to those who voted for Obi. Mistakes were made, I’m sure that lessons have been learned, & being learned right now.
Be gentle on Nigerians, especially those who did not vote for Bola. The Agbados thrive on bigotry & divisions, we shouldn’t play into their narrative. This is the time for us to redirect. Enough points have been made. When a people realize their mistake, they should be given a chance to rectify it.

We shouldn’t blame the people 100%. I am not absolving anyone of blame, I am simply saying; “we should all come together & figure out how to remove Bola, through a legitimate push.
WHAT’S DONE IS DONE! Things are going to get worse. The billionaires are converting their wealth to dollar assets, pushing the exchange rate to records highs.
You go hold money but you won’t be able to buy food. For now, food is available, but people can’t afford them. Let us hope that Nigeria doesn’t get to that point. When the Naira can no longer buy anything.
I like to paint these pictures as a constant reminder. We have to always situate everything in their proper context. When we narrate the events of 2023, we should always endeavor to accentuate these salient points.
In my yet to be published book titled “2023,” I took great pains to document everything the way they happened. Posterity must know. Young generation of Nigerians coming after us must be educated on these things as well.
When we lose this important piece of our most recent History, people could distort the facts.
Every region suffer the same.
We all suffer just as much.
No tribe or religion buy bread cheaper.
Please & please, we have to find a way to remove Bola Tinubu from office, legally. We have to support any push geared towards his removal. I know my pocket has depleted, I send monies to Nigeria virtually everyday. We’ve made our point quite alright.
Can we all brainstorm on the way forward? 🙏
