INEC earlier announced of the registration of adhoc saff ahead of the 2023 general elections.
So many questions have been raised as so many issues are at stake.
Jkcyno news is here to offer some words of advise to Nigerians who might be considering registering for the adhoc job.
THE THINGS AT STAKE
The unreasonable electoral laws in Nigeria have overtime played blindly to the fact that all the adhoc staff are intentionally disenfranchised during Elections in Nigeria.
Prio to this year’s all important elections, voter apathy was the order of the day as many Nigerians never cared to cast their votes.
PVCs were nonetheless a card set aside for banking purposes or issues relative to national identification. Nothing more.
This year, it’s different as most Youths have woken up to the absurd realities on ground , thus the need to vote right.
INEC Adhoc STAFF : These are people temporarily engaged by INEC to help run the electioneering exercises.
Corp members are mostly used as Presiding officers (PO) in most cases as other individuals are engaged as SPOs and other ranks.
WHY YOU SHOULDN’T APPLY THIS YEAR IF YOU HAVE A VALID PVC :Â
INEC Adhoc staff end up not voting on the election day as there wouldn’t be vehicular activities that day even if you wished to abandon your job to briefly go and vote. INEC electoral acts made it almost impossible for adhoc staff to vote due to the fact that INEC deploys staff to different local governments within the jurisdiction and less likely to be your own polling unit.

With this singular act, millions of Nigerians who would be working as Adhoc staff would be automatically disenfranchised.
WHO SHOULD APPLY :Â
Aside Corp members whom are almost certain they would work, all those without PVCs should endeavor to apply. if you were among those who suffered to get enrolled but couldn’t, try and apply as to help protect the vote from riggers.
HOW MUCH IS INVOLVED 😕Â
The usual amount for INEC Adhoc staff is 15k. Yes, you heard me correctly.
Are you actually going to abandon your hard earned PVC you struggled so hard to get for 15k and allow your single vote deducted?
Mind you, a single vote can win elections.
MY SUGGESTION : LET ALL OBIDIENTS MOBILIZE MASSIVE POLLING UNIT PRESENCEÂ
Obidients should be awake.
Make use of highly volatile area, make use of body cam for evidence. Deploy massive polling unit agents for unit sensitization on election day and to make sure no INEC Staff is being compromised.
This election by the day is obvious it would be Peter Obi vs INEC
God help Obidients all over Nigeria.
Victory must be achieved.
Nigeria must be taken back.
Be wise and Vote wisely.
