Why do Kano people love Kwankwaso So much? See reactions.

Politics aside, I want to learn how @KwankwasoRM became this popular among his people. What did he do for them?

Kwankwoso had the interest of his people at heart, he gave thousands of youths scholarships, he worked massively for Kano state. Kwankwoso has since became the political God father of Kano state since the demise of Abubakar Rimi. And finally

I was in Warri recently (warri is in far south), asked a keke rider if he knew Kwankwaso. The joy in his face when he replied ehn.. He talks about how kwankwaso has real love for the poor, how when he was gov, he was always in the streets gisting and eating with them

He gave the children of the very poor opportunities to aspire to whatever they can be. Some very poor families have medical doctors, pilots and engineers courtesy of his merit based scholarship scheme. That gave him the trust of the masses who believe he can be trusted.
