Unknown Gunmen Shoots Dead Rev.Fr in Imo state.

Fr. Jude Egbom is from Umuwala in St. Thomas Parish, Nkwerre, Imo state . He was the parish priest of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Amucha. He had travelled for further studies in Rome but returned immediately after to resume as the parish priest . He is Always smiling, happy and bubbling with life as described by his parishioners.

He was reportedly shot dead by unknown gun men at nkwerre, his home town where he went to see his brother who came home from abroad.

According to eye witness , the gunmen came to a barber’s shop ( saloon) where he was and started shooting sporadically. He ran out to his car and they made out to him and shot him dead. Two other persons were shot dead as well.

This would be the second time such story is heard in Orlu Catholic diocese in Imo state.

The entire diocese is thrown into confusion and mourning as details sorrounding his death is yet to be unravelled .
