The Vice chancellor of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone, FAS who’s the INEC Returning officer for Imo state is not having it easy delivering his job in Imo state as he’s reported to be in loggerhead with the Commissioner of Police in the state.
Different conflicting reports have it that the Police are trying to coerce the Vice chancellor into manipulating the results while some are saying the VC ia trying to manipulate the results.
However, from what we could deduce from that little video clip where the Commissioner of Police appeared to be threatening the VC of withdrawing his security if he doesn’t proceed with the Collation of the results from a certain region known as Njaba LGA.

We also gathered from our sources INEC COLLATION OFFICER PROF CHARLES ESIMONE shifted the collation of the last result from the State (Njaba LGA) till today by 9am.
However, Commissioner for Police says there was no Election at Njaba because materials were hijacked.
But the question is, is it the jurisdiction of the Police to determine a LGA that would be declared or not….
A lot needs to be answered in Imo state…
