The Umuada Amawbia Ugbogiliga hosted their illustrious son, the Deputy Speaker, Ọzọmkpulobi Amawbia, Hon. Pius Chukwuma Okoye.under the distinguished chairmanship of Chief Mike Akubude (Ozo Agbogidi Amawbia) at Amawbia Townhall on the 8th of June, 2024.
Hon. Pius Chukwuma, in his welcome Address felt so elated at such uncommon and good gesture from Ụmụ Ada Amawbia.
His address was thus below :
“Yesterday was a day to remember. I’m still beaming with joy and gratitude as I reflect on the warm welcome and honor bestowed upon me by Umuada Amawbia.
I’m deeply humbled by the Award of Honour presentated to me by the Women, recognizing my dedication and service to our constituency, Awka South 2, and Anambra State as Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

I want to appreciate Umuada Amawbia for ther support and I promise to continue working tirelessly to deliver the dividends of democracy to our community.
I want to also extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone who attended yesterday’s event, especially Obizi Women, Hausa Community in Amawbia, the Dancing Troupe, APGA Ward Chairmen, and members of the Anambra State House of Assembly. Your presence made this day truly unforgettable.
Thank you all for your love and encouragement. I’m proud to serve this community.
