Following the sudden withdrawal of president Joe Biden from the United States presidential race, former President Donald Trump, has expressed his strong opinions on the matter, claiming Biden was never suitable for the presidency.

“Biden will go down as the single worst president by far in the history of our country,” Trump declared.

His swift reaction underscores the high-stakes nature of the upcoming election and the intense rivalry between the two political buffalos.

In a statement posted on his Truth Social media, Trump said, “Crooked Joe Biden was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve – And never was!”

He criticized Biden’s capability, noting that even those close to Biden, including his medical team and the media, were aware of his shortcomings.

The flippant former president also reiterated his familiar campaign rhetoric, berating Biden’s handling of border issues.

He said, “We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

NewsBand reported that in a statement on Sunday, 81 year old Biden said it is his intention to seek reelection as president, but his decision to withdraw from the race is in the interest of his party and country.

Biden’s decision follows weeks of mounting pressure from within his own party and from prominent Democratic donors urging him to step aside for the sake of the party’s future.

However, the announcement marks a huge shift in the political landscape as the Democratic Party must now quickly organize to select a new nominee before August 7.

“It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President. “I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision.”

“My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this,” he wrote, including a photo of him with the vice president.
