The president of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari’s speech to Nigerians can never be void of criticism from many Nigerians especially when the contents consistently seem vague.

This article is to express the excruciating grievance of Nigerians as the Presidency keeps taking them for granted.
Prior to tonight’s broadcast, the major issues were the inability for the president to address Nigerians amidst the terrible and precarious situation they found themselves. It took serious online wailing, trolling and pleadings before the president decided to give the citizens a pre-recorded broadcast which was carefully recited.
He decided to implement some lockdown in some states for a period of 14days.
He also promised some palliatives to aid the poor citizens of the affected States….
That singular gesture has been marred with serious irregularities and alleged squander with reckless abandon as no substantial records were noted of who actually benefited from that budget.
Nigerians were subjected to a house arrest without food nor any help from the government aside the joke of “food Palliatives” given to some persons intermittently.
Tonight, one would have expected the president to address all these issues over the previous 14days.
One would have expected a president to show concern to the increased crime rate experienced in lagos and Ogun state over the week……” Maybe, he wasn’t aware”.
One would have expected the President to carefully tell Nigerians how they had managed the Billions donated to them by some individuals and organizations…… Nothing of such was noted….
One would have expected the president to tell Nigerians what they learnt from the overtly poor handling of the relief aids and funds and how they intend to improve on it over the next added 14days. ….
Did you hear the government make mention of any progress they made or making or new ideas to be adopted?
People clamored for the Presidency to use their BVN to send some money across to as many Nigerians that have account number…….. Nothing of such was captured in the recitation….
Funny and so embarrassingly enough, the supposed Presidential Live speech was online hours even before the actual broadcast such that Nigerians had the copy of the speech, read it all through and was only following the “Recitation” by the president immediately it was 7pm.
Who does that for crying out loud……. Do we really play too much in this country?
