The Cosmetic Approaches of Tinubu’s Govt. Amidst heightened Impoverished Nigerians

Nigeria as a nation is currently sitting on the precipice of economic disaster if swift action isn’t taken by her government.

There are several emperical facts to this bizarre happenstances…

The Government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu seems to be walking on the corridors of cosmetic approaches to actual governance.

What’s cosmetic Approach to issues?

Using “cosmetic approaches” to issues means addressing only the surface-level symptoms or appearances of a problem, rather than tackling the underlying root causes or substance of the issue. It’s like applying makeup to cover up a skin blemish without treating the underlying skin condition.

Cosmetic approaches might provide a temporary fix or a superficial solution, but they don’t lead to meaningful, long-term change or resolution. They can even mask the real problems, making it harder to address them later on.

Examples of cosmetic approaches include:

– Implementing quick fixes or band-aid solutions
– Focusing on appearances or public image rather than substance
– Avoiding confrontation or difficult conversations.

– Making superficial changes without addressing underlying systemic issues
– Using jargon or buzzwords without taking concrete actions

In contrast, meaningful solutions require a deeper understanding of the issues, critical thinking, and a willingness to tackle the root causes. This might involve:

– Conducting thorough analysis and research
– Engaging in open and honest dialogue
– Developing comprehensive plans and strategies
– Implementing systemic changes and reforms
– Encouraging transparency and accountability

By distinguishing between cosmetic approaches and meaningful solutions, you can ensure that you’re addressing issues effectively and making lasting progress.

Hope the lecture on cosmetic Approach is well understood?

Now, let’s get down to the brass tacks!!!

Tinubu's rice distribution

On the 27th of June,2024, Bola Ahmed Tinubu was credited with the above pronouncement by channels tv where he orders disbursement of N155b for foodstuff purchase nationwide.

Now, we’re talking about one hundred and fifty five billion naira of tax payers money…

The question is….

1. What do they mean by foodstuff purchase?

2. How did they intend to share the foodstuff?

Most importantly… How many of you reading this message actually did receive any FOOD STUFFS?

did you remember the amount gulped by this?

100, 000 metric tonnes of rice

On the 8th of February, 2024…. BOLA AHMED TINUBU orders the release of 100,000 metric tons of grains…

Quick question..

1. Which grains?

2. From which silos?

Have the grains reached to Nigerians?

How many grains did each Nigerians get?

So unfortunate that Nigerians are not asking questions while FG uses same scheme each time Nigerians complain.

Tinubu's rice Palliatives

On the 16th of July, 2024, same FG this time didn’t order but donates 20 trucks of rice to each state,….

Same gimmicks, same style, same vague results..

One week and days after, nothing is heard about this rice sharing scheme…

How do you explain Nigeria to Non Nigerians?

Where are the Trucks…?

Where are the Rice..?

And Nigerians are supposed to keep waiting?

The few states that said they got are showing a rather laughable half bags of rice to be shared amongst communities..

All these are purely not acceptable in a modern society…

FG on CNG buses to Nigerians

On the 22nd of April, 2024, the Federal Government who removed the fuel subsidy on the 29th of May, 2023, pushing Nigerians into unbearable and unprepared energy crisis announced that they going to launch 2,700 CNG buses and tricycle nationwide which would commence in May, 2024.

Ladies and Gentlemen…. We’re currently in July and Nicodemusly entering August…. 😂

Where are the CNG buses to Nigerians to help cushion the effect of the hike in fuel prices…?

Oh, i forgot that they also promised the NLC and TUC leaders 36 CNG buses after their minimum wage meeting that ended in solidarity songs for Tinubu.

How many CNG buses have you seen on the Nigerian roads from the Federal Government..?

Oh, i remember they are asking Nigerians not to protest that they have heard their pleas….

Which pleas did they actually hear and from whom?

Good Morning Nigerians……
