TCN explains Reasons Some Parts of Nigeria still experience power outage

The NLC and TUC had suspended the strike action which saw the TCN Shutdown the National grid in compliance with the indefinite strike declaration.

Unfortunately, after the call off…. It’s not with the speed of which the grid was switched off that it’s coming up…..

Jkcyno blog gathered that TCN Initiated National Grid Restoration beginning from Shiror as Process Progressing Gradually.

The progress of electricity distribution is currently moving slowly, with the Shiroro Substation partly restored to supply power to the Katampe substation.

In a recent statement, the Transmission Company of Nigeria informed that the nationwide blackout experienced yesterday was caused by the organized Labour’s planned strike, leading to the shutdown of the National Grid.

Even though the Nigerian Labour Congress has ended the strike, progress in restoring the grid has been slow. Only Shiroro Hydropower is gradually increasing its output to supply the transmission lines.

 

This is a case of getting an elephant 🐘 to fall down and to get it to stand up” again come be issue “.. 

Some people might not see NEPA light today or even tomorrow…. Hahaahahaaa….. NLC una well done ooo
