The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has dissolved the State Executive Council. The state government announced that the dissolution took effect from Tuesday, May 24. According to a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Media, the Chief of Staff to the Governor and the Senior Special Assistants have also been relieved of their offices.
