Stanel Boss bags 2017 African Achievers Award

The Chairman of Stanel Group, Mr Stanley Uzochukwu has won the 2017 African Achievers Award for his contributions to entrepreneurship and philanthropy in the continent.

Uzochukwu alongside other notable African Achievers awardees were honoured at an event hosted by renowned British Labour Party politician, Diane Julie Abbott at the United Kingdom House of Parliament on Thursday, November 30, 2017.

The most prestigious award for great African achievers according to Forbes rating was presented to Mr Stanley Uzochukwu under the category of enterprise and business impact in Nigeria.

Uzochukwu, a businessman and philanthropist won the 2017 African Achievers Awards for his outstanding achievements in the areas of job creation, reaching out to and putting smile on the faces of widows, orphans, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), Prison inmates, people with disabilities and, of course, his contribution to child education in Nigeria.

Other notable recipients of the African Achievers award include the Chairman of Sustainable Healthcare International, Dr. Mike Otomosho; Managing Director of Aspire Education Group, Patricia Lamour; Engr. (Dr.) Emmanuel Audu-Ohwavborua (FNSE, PMP), and Julius Nkafu.

Uzochukwu is renowned for his investments in the Oil and Gas sector, the education sector and philanthropic works in several states across the country.
