The Deputy Speaker of Anambra state House of Assembly , Hon. Pius Chukwuma Okoye, (Ozo Mkpuluobi Amawbia) has advised the youths of Anambra to shun cultism and violence.

In his didactic speech, the deputy Speaker, greeted the youths, especially the youths from his constituency with a message of hope, unity, and progress.

According to him, he reiterated that he must address a pressing issue that threatens to undermine the collective future of “ndị Anambra” :cultism and violence.

“Cultism and violence are like a cancer, eating away at the very fabric of our society. They destroy lives, families, and communities, leaving behind a trail of pain, suffering, and regret. Instead, I urge you to embrace peace, understanding, and non-violent means of resolving conflicts.

Anambra State is known for its rich cultural heritage, entrepreneurial spirit, and academic excellence. Let us build on these strengths and create a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.

Remember, violence and cultism are not the answer to any question. They only lead to more problems, more pain, and more suffering. Let us work together to build a society that values dialogue, tolerance, and the rule of law.

To those who have already fallen prey to cultism and violence, I say: there is hope for redemption. Leave these dangerous groups and seek help. We are willing to support and reintegrate you into society.

Let us join hands to build a peaceful, prosperous, and united Anambra State. The future is yours; let us shape it together, “the law maker advises the youths.
