In the aftermath of the local government election in Rivers State with the expectation that the newly elected Chairmen will assume office today following their swearing in on Sunday, the Eleme Local Government Council has been set ablaze.
Shortly after, more than two other Secretariats, including Ikwere, Wike’s LGA also burnt by arsonists.
You’d recall that the IG gave order for the police to be withdrawn from all the Secretariats.
This is going to be a long ride in Rivers state..
