The latest ongoing scam is hacking of one’s Facebook account and impersonating the owner to scam the friends on the list.
Earlier today, i got a chat from a supposed friend on Facebook (a very good friend way back). He chatted me up via inbox requesting i invest in his money doubling scheme.
As much as i knew the scheme was a scam, i was more surprised that my good friend is sending such to me.
I decided to engage him more by asking him some personal questions about me i knew he would know.
He obviously was avoiding it….. I noticed the account was hacked.
I asked he send his number to me so we would talk… Stupidly he sent this.. 09052726874….
his voice was different from my Friend Otukupe, (you have to be very sensitive any time you’re dealing with an unknown person.)
However, in a bid to get out all his antics, i played along by requesting to join his scheme.
He immediately referred me to his cohorts…. This is his number.. 0811 658 6135 (you can add him on whatsapp and finish him up)
He asked i chat him up on whatsapp.. .
The following conversations ensued..
And of course, he blocked me immediately he found out i had discovered their evil antics….
