The former Central Bank of Nigeria, Governor and ex Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi during one of his sermons to the Muslims faithfuls had made some salient points, challenging the unfortunate scenarios playing out in Nigeria within the Muslims circle.
According to him, the poverty index in the Northern parts of Nigeria is around 80% whilst something close to 20% in the Southern part if Nigeria. 🇳🇬
Sanusi asked if Muslims are meant to be subjected to poverty? Beg on the streets and with low education?
These and many more he asked and we need to bring it up today as Muslims celebrate their EID-EL-FITR today.
