Didn’t take long for the cowries to sit well on the native doctor’s medicine bag.
Well, G.O got wind of an impending impeachment last Tuesday and he screamed, “wow, too early o!”.
In this new battle of Wike v Sim, there’ll be one ultimate loser: Wike.
Wike is playing the ultimate game of an emperor who’ll be consumed by his own battle. With Rivers treasury at his beck, Sim will buy over every foot soldier of Wike in Rivers. If he knows his politics well, he will take the war to his base in Abuja. Money answereth all things in politics.
Wike and Sim know each other, having been together since 1999 – Sim always serving as the bagman. Now, he has the ultimate gubernatorial power.
If Wike becomes too much of a nuisance to the mandate thief,
he’ll be pushed out as a Minister.
He’s no longer useful.
The Wike v Sim battle won’t even out to equal odds because Wike is too intellectual bereft to think deep for himself or humble to listen to rational views. If Sim notches up thinkers and strategists within his reach and acts, there’ll be no odd to be even out. Slow water runs deep, they say. Sim is that slow water; but will he run deep?
Again, G.O’s prophesy has come to pass.
