Nigerians are becoming increasingly frustrated accept for the very few benefiting from the government.
Earlier, a former presidential aspirant, Sowere who initiated the #RevolutionNow campaign slated to kick start today 5th of August was arrested in his Ikeja residence by the men of the DSS. He is currently in their custody.
He aligned himself with the suffering masses to demand for a true leadership from the government of Nigeria and listed several pressing needs that cry for attention from the government.
The DSS had said the slated protest was treasonable and a ploy to truncate the present administration, hence the need to arrest Sowore.
Prio to this day, Police had issued a stern warning against the prospective protesters to desist from doing so even though they have every right to do so in a democratically ran nation.
However, most people defiled their threats and proceeded with the protest nonetheless.
Although it recorded a very low turn out do to the threats and security implications but we’re here to bring to you updates of the ongoing protest.
The protest has taken a new drift from #RevolutionNow to #FreeSowore
