Peter Obi,The presidential candidate of the Labour party and the incoming new coach/technical director of the Team Nigeria has once again reeled out real facts from Charlotte, USA 🇺🇸 on how to take back Nigeria FC from the current relegation zone back to top 4 place which would enable Nigerians engage in Champions League zone around the world again.

Peter Obi, who was previously in  Houston, Texas (video) and also in Toronto, Canada for a Townhall meeting(video) is still trying to convince the diasporans on the need to sack the current woeful coaches taking Nigeria down the obvious inevitable relegation zone and tweak the system to enable Nigeria win the Premier and Champions league again.

Below are all he painstakingly said at Charlotte, USA 🇺🇸 during his Townhall meeting with Nigerians resident in that zone.

I foresee a Diaspora role of infinite possibilities when and if our sons and daughters, elect to deploy their technology, expertise, industrial discipline and experience, to Nigeria for national development and encourage their hosts and friends to invest in Nigeria. -PO

In 2021 Nigeria’s foreign direct investment (FDI) was $4.8 billion. This is paltry compared to Diaspora remittances. Therefore, I see Diaspora remittances as the new normal and becoming Nigeria’s Official Development Assistance (ODA).

Moreover, expert assessments are indicative that with proper policy and planning, Nigerians in Diaspora could potentially remit about $60b annually; which will translate to about 14% of our total GDP.-PO
