Peter Obi’s statement On World Refugee Day

The Presidential candidate of the Labour party, His Excellency, Peter Gregory Obi, the man whose Millions of Nigerians are looking up to, to help them reclaim their mandate from the people INEC gruesomely handed their mandate issued a statement remembering the Refugees.

Even as he is still in court, he doesn’t miss leading like a President he really is.

On this occasion of World Refugee Day, we remember our numerous displaced Nigerians, who have literally become refugees in their own land, driven out from their homes and living in internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps,

due to high level of insecurity and other natural disasters. According to Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre, Nigeria was home to 3.6 million IDPs as at the end of year 2022, placing Nigeria among five nations with the highest number of internally displaced persons in Africa.
