[dropcap]P[/dropcap]eople’s Democratic Party (PDP) organized it’s ward congresses nation wide after which it fixed the L.G congresses for 1/12/17.
On the said day, former Senator Margery Chuba Okadigbo knowing fully well that she will not succeed in installing her preferred candidates in a free & fair election because she is not on ground restored to violence.
Exclusive report to jkcyno.com gathered that in connivance with one of the three returning officers Mr Moses Odianma (A cousin to Margery Okadigbo), Mr O. G Nwakoby & some illegal police men the senator brought resorted to violence. With the assistance of these people the embattled senator seized the materials & in a commando like action started throwing chairs while her thugs resorted to beating delegates indiscriminately & with the help of the police she escaped the arena while the police were shooting sporadically . Everyone had to run away for safety.
It was also noted that she was allegedly making frantic effort to change the list of approved ward executives of Oyi in order to install her own candidates who can not win elections or manage the party. Almost all her favoured candidates are from APC they also alleged.
