Obasanjo Shuns Bola Tinubu’s Council Of State Meeting In Abuja

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo  was notably absent from the Council of State meeting being held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting includes former Presidents Muhammadu Buhari  and Goodluck Jonathan in attendance, with Yakubu Gowon and Abdulsalami Abubakar  participating virtually.

The Council, which advises the President on major policy decisions, also comprises the Vice President, Senate President, and other top officials.

The statement had read, “President Bola Tinubu Summons Council of State Gowon, IBB, Abdusalami, Obasanjo, Jonathan, Buhari Others for a meeting today.

“The Council of State consists of the following persons: the President, who is the Chairman; Vice-President, who is the Deputy Chairman; all former Presidents of the Federation and all former Heads of the Government of the Federation.

“All former Chief Justices of Nigeria; President of the Senate; Speaker of the House of Representatives; all the Governors of the states of the Federation; the minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.”

 

Sometimes, i find it very difficult to look past what Jonathan did and did not do… I find it difficult to forgive him… He gave room for APC to happen to Nigeria in the first place…. See where they have brought Nigeria to… Look at him flolicking with them…. To him.. All is well.. That was why they had the effrontery to rumour about getting him an APC presidential form….. Nonsense and ingredients!!!!
