In a country called Nigeria 🇳🇬 in the west African hemisphere, in 2024, citizens sleep and wake in the pool of their “SWEAT”.
Before i continue, one pertinent question keeps echoing on my mind… What really happened to the little ELECTRICITY Nigerians were managing under the regime of Muhammadu Buhari?
Barely 11 months ago, Nigerians could at least boast of manageably managing their Epileptic power…… 11 months after they ” RENEWED THEIR HOPE” , they now see darkeness once they open their door.
Guess what, they also increased their Bills, introducing them to the new words…. Band A, Band B, Band C.... Bla bla bla…. Band of Darkness , misery and exploitation !!!
Wait a minute….. Has Bola Tinubu’s government added a single megawatts to the National grid before removing the subsidy on electricity and increasing the tariff?
The answer is Absolutely Nope…
Within 11 months, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has removed subsidy on Petrol ⛽, removed subsidy on Education 📙 and Finally on Electricity….. 💡….
What actually did he do to warrant or substitute for the various Subsidy Removals to cushion the effects?
Absolutely nothing…..
He removed all the subsidies and started setting up the committee to look into how to share RICE and Grains to Nigerians…. (like seriously) as a direct substitute to the subsidy removal.
Where are the Savings he supposedly has made from all those subsidy removals?
Oh, he has increased the allocations of the state Governors (government)…
Wow… !!!
To what benefit is that to the lives of an ordinary Nigerian? Not even the state government workers…

During Buhari’s torrid and lackluster regime…. The Electricity though wasn’t good, it was manageable and even better because Petrol was subsidized and Most Nigerians were using Generator sets to provide alternative Power both at their Office/working place and at home.
Now, Majority can’t afford to buy Petrol ⛽ at a hiked price of N700/ liter to Power their Household.
It means, majority of Nigerians can’t store their Soup or perishables in their refrigerator anymore….. 😢
Helloo… They said, it was too early to judge Bola Tinubu…. It is going to be a full blown One year by next month and yet, what Nigerians see daily is…. Bola Ahmed Tinubu makes fresh APPOINTMENTS…. consistent appointments that have not added anything to the quality of life Nigerians live..
Guess what.. Most of the APC praise singers and the ones on LOAN from PDP ( Daniel Bwala and Reno Omokri) keep singing 🎶 to the high notes.

The minister of Power was busy teaching Nigerians how to conserve Energy ⚡ by switching off their Deep Freezer upon leaving house without actually providing the Electricity.
Even the people on the so called Band A can’t even boast of 8hrs Light in a week not a day…..

Fix Power and reverse the price of Petrol and all these madness would atleast start resetting.
