Nigerians have berated the Minister for Labour and employment, Dr. Chris Ngige for walking out on a very important meeting involving the fate of Millions of Nigerian youths whose futures have been pressed on hold for 8 months counting due to the lingering ASUU strike.
This post has nothing to do with the rhetorics of who’s right or wrong between ASUU and Federal Government’s lingering debacle but a clear call out to what i deem as an insult to the entire Nigerians, especially the students hoping for something meaningful to come out of the meeting.
It’s obvious that Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke and Dr. Chris Ngige have their own personal issues which isn’t far from personal egos. Who would shift ground for who is the issue basically.
All those semantics ain’t the important issues here as NIGERIAN YOUTHS wasting at home is the focal issues here.
Chris Ngige’s most important issue was that ASUU President said that APC government would be voted out by Nigerians.
Even if he said that, it has nothing to do with the main reason the meeting was called. (although it’s the truth that Nigerians would vote out those insensitive leaders that kept out children at hope for months and counting).
Why would Ngige walk out?
Is Ngige’s bruised ego bigger than all those people in that room?
Even if Ngige was insulted, although he wasn’t, why wouldn’t he keep it aside till the meeting is over to meet Prof. Emma outside the gate to blow his teeth out?
Walking out of that meeting means Ngige doesn’t care about Nigerians that Elected the president that appointed him.
Simple…that’s the meaning of what Ngige did.
Least i forget, Adamu Adamu, the education minister had walked out on the student union.
They don’t rate Nigerians atall…. Impunity raised to power 10.

In a more saner clime, Ngige and Adamu should have resigned immediately… Nonsense and ingredients…. No one holds the leaders accountable in this nation.
