Nigerian Fin-tech, Uniccon Group creates “Omeife” Robot

Africa just made a big leap in the race for Artificial Intelligence, as Uniccon Group, a Nigerian tech start-up, develops the First Humanoid Robot on the continent. The robot is called “Omeife”

“omeife” is an Igbo name which can have a literal translation as “worker or someone that does something”.

Slowly…. ROBOTIC SCIENCE IS GAINING PROMINENCE INTO NIGERIA.
