The newspaper print media outlets in Nigeria have all staged a subtle protest today nationwide as all their newspapers front-pages all have same caption,”information blackout”.
This would as a result of the current administration’s deliberate effort to stifle freedom of speech and expression in Nigeria.
You’d recall that the government had earlier asked all the media houses to deactivate their twitter handles after the tech giant app was banned in Nigeria.
However, not all the media houses respected such draconian order in 2021.
