Prof. Mahmood Yakubu would be remembered in the history across the world as the man who lied to Nigerians on the national tv several times and even at the International stage in Chatham House.
Mahmood Yakubu during a broadcast in 2022, threw away the suspicious move by the INEC to jettison the BVAS and IReV during the presidential election. He blatantly lied while reassuring Nigerians that those were fake news.
Fake news have suddenly turned to real news eventually.
He reiterated that election results would be transmitted from the Polling Units and viewed on the IReV in real time by the Nigerian anywhere in the world.
He referred to Nigerians as citizens several times in that video clip even when he knew he was lying.
