It’s quite unfortunate that the bar for good governance in Nigeria is so low, yet, most governors still perform below the already low bar set by poor Nigerians for their leaders.

It’s only in Nigeria that most people keep judging a GOVERNOR or praising him for building roads and maybe, 1 hospital. So unfortunate, yet some would still not build the road for 8 years.

Why do you think they Fly abroad for any slight headache if they equipped the few hospitals they managed to build? You know the answer!

Most Nigerians don’t understand that, the major yardstick for judging any serious government should be HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX (HDI).

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a statistic composite index of life expectancy, education (mean years of schooling completed and expected years of schooling upon entering the education system), and per capita income indicators, which are used to rank countries into four tiers of human development.

The Human Development Index (HDI) measures each country’s social and economic development by focusing on the following four factors: mean years of schooling, expected years of schooling, life expectancy at birth, and gross national income (GNI) per capita.

Now, you understand why only Peter Obi keeps hammering on the HDI. He understands the essence and the implications of that to a developing Nation.
