Supreme Court Verdict, Confirmation Of INEC’s Incompetency – Peter Obi
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi has condemned the rulings of the Supreme Court which affirmed the election of Bola Tinubu as winner of the poll.
Speaking during a world press conference held at the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Office on Monday in Abuja, Obi said the rulings of the apex court contradict the overwhelming evidence of “election rigging, identity theft, false claim of technical hitch. He added that the Supreme Court has transferred a moral burden from the courtroom to the society”.

He further castigated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for failing in the discharge of its official duty.
“This end is another step to the restoration of hope to Nigerians. INEC displayed incompetence and judiciary defended it.
“Our mission remains unchanged; Moving Nigeria from consumption to production to pull millions out of multidimentional poverty.
“We the Labour Party and Obidients family are now effective opposition in the country,” he said.
