Fuel Crisis In Nigeria worsens as Petrol Pump Price hits 1000/ltr

The current fuel crisis in Nigeria is making life more unbearable for Nigerians especially those in some mega cities.

Yesterday, in Lagos state, one person reportedly lost his life as another person shot and killed him for issues of queue.

Sadly, the pump ⛽ prices have risen to about 1000/litre in some parts of Nigeria.

Some parts of Nigeria however are selling for 900/ltr, 750/ltr and all staggered pricing all over the nation.

This is a country which so much Crude oil in abundance….

This is a country that can’t produce their own Petrol ⛽ but keeps exporting crude and use dollars 💵 to import it….

Is that not madness?

BREAKING:
Man shot in Obalende area of Lagos this evening, while fighting for fuel.

A man has just been shot and killed at NNPC, Obalende, Ikoyi, Lagos, during an argument on whose turn it is to purchase fuel.

There are conflicting reports as to the identity of the shooter, as some stated the shooter was a policeman while others referred to him as a DSS operative.

The shooter fled the scene immediately, in a bid to escape.
The youths in the area as an action to reciprocate the killing, burnt 2 Hilux belonging to Police/DSS.

Currently, there is still a growing fire at the NNPC fuel station in Obalende and citizens are advised to stay safe and stay indoors until the situation is handled.
