The vice presidential candidate of the Labour party in the 2023 general elections, Senator Yusuf Datti-Babba Ahmed was a guest on the prime time show with Charles Aniagolu on Arise TV.
It was a 45mins interview which was centered on the variant issues bedeviling Nigeria as a nation.

CHARLES: After 9 years in power, APC has full control of the machinery, aren’t you afraid?!
DATTI: I can never be afraid of illegitimacy. If they were actually legit, no problem, but Tinubu was in power in Lagos for 24 years and we beat them black & blue. Just as we won them overwhelmingly in the FCT too!
They have the power of the gun, we have the power of the people. And I know the people will one day take a stand (paraphrasing).

Nothing gives a Nobel Laureate the right to insult everybody. This is no longer the 60s & 70s Nigeria. Respect must be earned, & it must be reciprocal. Those who want the respect of others must first conduct themselves properly in public.
It is good that Bola Tinubu has been tested, & has failed.”
Datti slammed Nigerian people for accepting everything that comes their way….
Datti is trending because Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed this evening on Arise Tv said that
1. Wole Soyinka is irrelevant and a needless distraction who is scared of what he would lose if Peter Obi fixes Nigeria.
2. He said Peter Obi doesn’t not control the Obidient movement, in reference to Wole Soyinka’s claim that PO tells the Obidients who to insult.
3. If there is an election again, he and PO will defeat APC again. Unless they manipulate the result & announce by 4am again.
4. He also added that Soyinka should act like his status as Nobel laureate, and stop insulting people. And because can speak 1960 & 1970 English doesn’t give him the right to insult anyone.
5. He said Nigerians are too docile, as they can take everything thrown at them.
