Nigerian singer-songwriter, Charles Oputa, a.k.a Charly Boy@AreaFada1, joined in the #EndSARSMemorial protest at the Lekki Toll Gate.
Charles Oputa is no new face to public protest especially in defense for the youths and lending his voice to the bad governance and police brutality the Nigerian citizens.
The protest which started with people protesting while inside their vehicles flying Nigerian flags 🇳🇬 later saw huge crowds trekking to the toll gate.
Although some arrests, intimidation, harassments and abuse by the police were ongoing until the state commissioner for police, Hakeem Odumosu came to apologize on behalf of his men in what he described as overzealousness on their part.
