The Edo State election is finally here and the worst fears of most Nigerians are here starring at their respective faces.
Below are collective happenstances at from the field….
This is alleged to be from APC thugs disrupting elections, especially where it’s not favoring them.
You could obviously see the level of vote buying ongoing…. It was Labour Party Deputy Gubernatorial candidate that raised the alarm.
“Engr. Shaibu wrote : Edo no be Lagos. Edo no be Lagos. They bought votes in Lagos State. They are buying in Edo State and all you do is take pictures and post on X. Stone them. Chase them away. If not, forget Edo governorship. APC will steal it and ask you to go to court. When will we ever learn🤷♂️”
” Marian Odiete wrote : Not small vote buying ooooo old and young collecting money from apc and pdp its unfortunate 😕 Nigerians are not ready for a better life than slaves”.
“I am seeing result sheets from Edo State. Some human beings still took themselves to polling units and use their fingers to vote APC. Oh my goodness. How does it even make any sense. I give up at this point.”

This election was not about popularity but moneylarity. LP is the only party not buying votes from all the polling units I visited.
People were voting according to pay.
God help this country if we continue like this.
