DSS reportedly threatens Deji of Akure Palace Over Akeredolu

The DSS @OfficialDSSNG has reportedly threatened the Deji of Akure Palace to not allow any youth into the Akure Hall Venue for a planned Townhall event on Saturday, 16th of December which seeks to call out Governor Akeredolu to resume office or resign immediately.

Akeredolu has been severely sick and out of office for over 7 months and refusing to allow the Deputy govern. Akeredolu from his sick bed, is in a bid to sack the Deputy Governor of the oil rich and gold mining state.

In September, the people of Ondo State received an information purportedly from Akeredolu which sacked all aides, workers and assistants of the Deputy Governor, an order many believed was given by the APC leaders who only want to control the oil and hold in the state, as they have fully taken charge in Akeredolu’s absence and intend to keep it that way.

APC has now requested that the Deputy Governor must resign from the govt after sacking all his aides and staff.

The people of Ondo have requested to know what the situation is in their State and why APC members have taken full control of the govt in the absence of Akeredolu and requesting the immediate exit of the Deputy Governor.

The people of Ondo State have requested Akeredolu to resume office immediately or resign as they do not know who is in control of their state and their vast Oil and other Natural resources.

Ondo is the 5th largest oil producing state in Nigeria. Ondo also has the 2nd largest bitumen deposit in the WORLD. Also, the State boasts of one of the largest natural gas deposits in the WORLD. Other mineral raw materials available in the state include: Granite, Marble, Gold, Gemstone, Clay, Diorite, and Lignite.
Upon completion of the Olokola free trade zone, Ondo state will boast of the largest deep sea port in West Africa.
One would wonder why a State like this has no current leadership.
The people of Ondo has asked Akeredolu to resume or resign as they do not know the powers in control of their beloved land.
