The former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan in a Program took his time to admonish his fellow politicians and security agencies over not to use their power to influence the Judiciary.
Below are few excerpts from his words :
“let me use this opportunity to advise us, who are politicians and those of us who are in the security services that while we’re doing the job we’re meant to do, let us not, because the Judiciary is very Conservative, try to blackmail them or squeeze them.

Sometimes, wisdom may be consumed with confidence, when we bear the big names, President, Governor, all the speakers and so on, when you’re holding such positions, we become so blinded, but the society is changing and we must blend, admonish ourselves.
Probably, the things we do and get away with it, we may not get away with it tomorrow.
If we take laws into our hands and try to squeeze the society, young people would react….

All he sais above were laced with coded words but still blunt.
The Current government which seems to be flying on without recourse that majority of Nigerians didn’t vote for them obviously needs that advice.

Meanwhile, whilst Jonathan’s advice remains valid… I am not happy with him.. Hoooohaaaa…. He is the main reason Buhari happened to Nigeria and almost got picked by APC before primaries as he was busy being romanced by the APC….. Make i no talk first…. Nonsense and ingredients.
