He smiled looking mischievously at me, “If I remember correctly, you’re scheduled for a week long break next week before starting your next rotation aren’t you?” he asked, “uh huh” I replied looking at him suspiciously, “I know how stressful this rotation has been for you and I really need you to de-stress and relax a bit before the next one” he began, “oh-kay” I said, waiting for him to finally land. “I planned a mini vacation to Maldives for you and I” he finally announced.
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Maldives was a dream destination I had always longed to visit. My eyes widened in utter shock, a mix of disbelief and excitement washing over me. “Maldives?” I squealed, unable to contain my excitement any longer. Without a second thought, I threw my arms around David, hugging him tightly.
“Oh my God, David, this is incredible! I’ve always wanted to go there!” I exclaimed, my voice filled with sheer joy. David’s laughter mixed with mine, and in that moment, I felt an overwhelming rush of love for him.
He held me at arm’s length, his eyes warm with affection. “I wanted to surprise you,” he said, his voice soft, “I thought it would be the perfect way for us to unwind and spend quality time together.”
I was beyond touched by his gesture. “You have no idea how much I appreciate this, David. Thank you, thank you so much!” I gushed, feeling a surge of gratitude.
“Anything for you my baby” he replied, giving me a kiss on the forehead.
Eventually, we all returned to our seats to watch the actual premiere of the movie. Of course by this time, I was sitting beside my fiancé. Gosh! It feels so good calling him that. David had actually rented a whole cinema hall for a private viewing of the movie premiere just so he could propose. He knew I had been anticipating the movie for so long and he wanted to make sure I watched it first with family and friends. David was such a dream come true, I still could not believe my luck. Who would have thought that a chance meeting at a party would result in this fairytale romance? Yes, at this point, I really felt like I was in a fairytale because David was way better than any man I had ever dreamed of dating and now he had asked me to be his wife. I’m sure you don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that I slept well that night, I was wrapped up in David’s arms sleeping peacefully like a baby.
Fast forward to the following weekend, David and I had arrived in Maldives and had begun our 5-day long vacation. All through the week leading to the trip, I was hyperactive and kept jumping around excitedly like someone that had Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
ADHD is a mental health condition that can cause unusual levels of hyperactivity and impulsive behaviours. People that have ADHD may experience symptoms such as difficulty focusing their attention on a single task or sitting still for long periods of time, trouble organising tasks, getting easily distracted, forgetting to do chores, talking too much or interrupting others’ conversations. Both children and adults can have ADHD but it is usually diagnosed in childhood. The cause of ADHD is still unclear, however, genetic and environmental factors may play a role. ADHD is usually treated with medication and psychotherapy.

The sight that greeted us upon our arrival was nothing short of mesmerising. Crystal-clear turquoise waters stretched out as far as the eye could see, blending seamlessly with the azure sky. The resort, perched on stilts above the water, looked like a luxurious haven nestled amidst this tropical paradise.
As we stepped onto the island, a warm breeze greeted us, carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers. The hotel was an architectural marvel. It boasted a series of elegant bungalows, each with its own private deck that extended over the water. The entire resort seemed to float on the surface of the tranquil ocean.
The reception area was adorned with intricate Maldivian décor, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the islands. The staff, dressed in traditional attire, welcomed us with genuine smiles and a refreshing coconut drink. We were then escorted to our water villa, a secluded paradise with uninterrupted views of the endless sea.
Our villa was a sanctuary of luxury. The interior was a blend of modern elegance and island charm. Large windows adorned the walls, offering panoramic views of the ocean and allowing the golden Maldivian sunlight to flood the room. The furnishings were a mix of natural materials, such as bamboo and teak, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The bedroom opened onto a spacious deck, where a private infinity pool seemed to merge with the horizon. Overhead, a thatched roof provided shade, and hammocks swayed gently in the breeze, inviting us to unwind and soak in the serenity of our surroundings.
The bathroom was a sanctuary in itself, featuring a large bathtub positioned near the window, allowing for a soak with a view. The amenities were luxurious, from scented bath oils to plush bathrobes, ensuring our every comfort was met.
That evening, we dined in the resort’s gourmet restaurant where we indulged in a culinary journey of exquisite Maldivian delicacies and international cuisine. The restaurant was situated over the water, with glass floors offering glimpses of the marine life swimming beneath us.
As we retired back to our water villa that night, the air was thick with a sweet, floral scent. The room, illuminated by the soft glow of flickering candles, felt like a scene from a fairy tale. The bed was adorned with delicate rose petals arranged in the shape of a heart, and the room was filled with the soft melody of a love song playing in the background. David had secretly arranged with the hotel staff to prepare a romantic setup in our room while we were away for dinner.
I couldn’t help but gasp in delight, my eyes widening with surprise. David, wearing a warm smile, wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. “I wanted tonight to be perfect,” he whispered, his eyes filled with adoration.
The ambiance was undeniably romantic, the warm glow of the candles casting a soft light on our faces. The gentle breeze from the open windows carried the scent of the ocean and the flowers, creating an intoxicating atmosphere.
He leaned forward, giving me a long, passionate kiss, making his way down my neck slowly with his lips and travelling from my neck to my bosom. I have to admit David definitely knows how to put a woman in the mood. He lifted me gently, dropping me on the bed and started to skillfully undress me, one piece after the other. At first, I was holding myself back but then he continued to travel down from my bosom to my waist and then finally reaching the promised land and driving me crazy with his tongue. I couldn’t hold back anymore, screaming and moaning, I ripped off his shirt begging for more. David was very generous with his tongue and kisses. I grabbed him begging to feel his warmth inside me and he obliged, slowly thrusting himself inside of me. It felt like heaven, each stroke sending me to a new level of ecstasy. David was no one-minute man, he went on for as long as I wanted and for the first time in my life I orgasmed multiple times. Eventually, with a gentle stroke, he reached orgasm too . It was at that moment I came back to my senses and realised that we didn’t use protection. “David” I suddenly blurted out looking horrified, “what’s the matter baby?” he replied , “we didn’t use protection” I said starting to look very worried, “what’s the problem with that?” he replied, looking confused, I immediately reached for my phone to check my calendar, “Oh My gosh!” I screamed, “Baby what’s the matter? you’re getting me worried” David replied looking concerned, “My ovulation is this week. I could get pregnant” I replied, staring at him in horror.
