The Senate President of Nigeria, Dr. Bukola Saraki just concluded a world press conference at the National Assembly in a bid to explain to Nigerians and the entire world what really happened yesterday during the DSS Operatives siege.
In his speech, he openly stated that the action from the DSS Operatives were an orchestrated act by the few APC Senators to impeach himself and the speaker of the House concurrently.
He also said that the APC Senators had an inconclusive meeting the previous day which lasted till 11pm but ended in a deadlock. That was certainly why they were absent in the morning during the siege, ”he also explained, ” trying to answer to some questions thrown at him.

He applauded the Acting President, VP Yemi Osinbajo for doing an honourable thing and enjoin Nigerians to always ensure that our democracy and what it stands is being protected.
It was also noted that the APC Senators were totally absent from the world press conference. This was supposed to be a world press conference which wasn’t exclusive to neither the Senate President nor the PDP Senators but everyone.
In conclusion, he made it clear that if the Senators found him wanting and wish to remove him as their leader, they should simply do it the right way within the ambits of the law.
