The JAMB has revealed that there was a massive failure in the just released result of UTME.
Out of 1,955,069 candidates who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), over 1.5 million of them scored less than 200 in the exam, JAMB reveals.
Jkcynonews gathered that JAMB records 78.5% failure as against Last year which was 76%.
A total of 2,030,627 students registered, but only 1,955,069 wrote the exams. Of which, 1,534,654 scored below average.
420,415 scored above 200, among which only 1.26% scored above 300.
71,701 students didn’t show up. 2,157 are under investigations for malpractice and 97 were involved in exams infractions, they disobeyed rules and regulations.
