Breaking : Gunmen Reportedly Abduct Dino Melaye

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he lawmaker representing Kogi Senatorial district, Dino Melaye, has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Abuja. According to fellow senator, Ben Murray Bruce, Melaye was abducted after unknown gunmen in a Sienna vehicle blocked his car at the Gwagwalada area of Abuja on Thursday morning.

Melaye was reportedly on his way to Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, where scheduled to appear at the magistrate court in Lokoja when the incident occurred. The controversial lawmaker recently defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party.

The lawmaker’s whereabouts are reportedly unknown at the moment.
