Are Nigerians being exploited via IELTS?

IELTS, The International English Language Testing System, is an international standardized test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. It is jointly managed by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge Assessment English, and was established in 1989.

The keyword above is “non-native” English language speakers. Can someone please tell me if Nigeria isn’t a native English language speaker?

It’s quite unfortunate that the British and other countries like Canada 🍁 have been exploiting Nigeria 🇳🇬 via the exorbitant English proficiency test, IELTS.

IELTS

From the information above, comparatively with the French Proficiency test, the cost is 16,000 which has no expiration whilst IELTS costs 89,500 which expires in 2years.

It means, if you knew how to read and write English language, in 2 years, the knowledge must have expired and you must have stopped understanding English .. Such gullibility to “Ụmụ Africa”

Slavery still continues…..!!!!!

Today, some Nigerians on the Twitter space have gone agog with their obvious outburst to that extortion from the British the supposed colonial master.

Below are their reactions….
